Frequently Asked Questions

Handmade & Unique

All of my pieces are handmade and one-of-a-kind. I’m always coming up with new designs and ideas so I don’t have a set inventory. If you see something you like the look of and would like a particular glaze colour then get in touch with me, i’ll gladly discuss the options.

Can I Order A Custom Piece?

Yes! Please get in touch with inquiries for commissions. When it comes to my Dutchess Jewellery Range there’s a particular thrill when asked to make the decorative elements based on actual pieces of jewellery owned by whoever the recipient will be. Of course my versions of the jewellery are OTT but what Dutchess wouldn’t want that? If you have a Dutchess in your life, or want to treat your inner Dutchess then get in touch, I can make ceramic jewellery boxes of any size and colour and make special pieces of jewellery to embellish the lid, so glam!

Please be aware that the making time varies but will be at least 4 weeks. Nothing about ceramics is particularly quick but if you have a date in mind for a celebration or gift then let me know and I'll see what might be possible.

Do You Ship Worldwide?

Yes. I use DHL and Post.nl, I'll choose the best service for your item.

As the UK is no longer part of the EU, customs could be charged when you purchase from me. Unfortunately, I can't include this in the shipping fees. Your local mail company will charge the fee when applicable.

What Packing Materials Do You Use?

I aim to use packaging that’s completely recyclable and/or compostable but I do keep bubble wrap, packing peanuts and sealed air from packages that I receive and will try to reuse this too. Your order will come in a cardboard box wrapped in paper tape.

In the unfortunate event that something breaks during shipping, please keep the original piece (and packaging) and send me an email with a picture of the broken item as soon as possible.

Recommended Care

All of my pieces are made with food-safe materials and non-toxic glazes. I suggest hand washing as the best way to prolong the life of your handmade ceramics
