Meet The Maker

Hello, I’m Rosie, welcome to FOUR-OH Ceramics! I’m a British ceramicist based in The Netherlands and I first created with clay at school when I was 9 years old … we then need to skip a few years to 2016 when fabulous friends bought me some pottery classes as a 40th birthday present - straightaway I was smitten with the art of wheel throwing.

After some years of practice and having developed my own style, FOUR-OH Ceramics bloomed into an official small business in 2022. I create whimsical, brightly coloured ceramics which are hand thrown on the wheel or built and then glazed one by one in my garden studio (shed!) and whenever I get the chance I'll be sure to add a flourish of gold, platinum and mother of pearl lustres!
